A Journey That Began Four Years Ago

Our Path Forward: Turning Compassion into Lasting Action
While our journey began with personal acts of care, the need across Los Angeles is far too vast to address alone. We are now moving beyond individual outreach to build a sustainable, structured support system through 369 Miracle: Homeless Outreach.
Our immediate goals are to:
-
Increase Output & Reach: Transition from occasional support to regular, scheduled distributions of essential "care packages"—including bottled water, nutritious non-perishable food, and seasonal warm clothing—to reach more neighbors in high-need areas.
-
Build Trust & Dignity: Utilize our foundation in Zen mindfulness to approach every individual with wholehearted presence and deep respect—treating them not as a statistic, but as a valued human soul.
-
Expand Community Collaboration: Create opportunities for volunteers to join our field outreach, and mobilize corporate and private donations to scale our life-saving impact.
By bridging the inner peace we cultivate in 369 Zen Circle with the urgent physical needs on the street, we strive to be more than a relief program—we are a catalyst for dignity, human connection, and hope.
Every contribution, no matter the size, directly fuels this mission. With your support, we can make this miracle a lasting reality for our neighbors in need.
Around four years ago, I began visiting and paying close attention to our local homeless neighbors—learning who they are, where they stay, and understanding their daily struggles.
It all started when I met a woman standing at a freeway exit. Whenever the timing was right, I brought her bottled water, canned food, dry snacks, and warm clothing donated by my former coworkers.
Soon I began noticing more and more young men living on the streets. It broke my heart to see how much youth homelessness has grown—these are young lives that should have their whole future ahead of them, not spent surviving on the sidewalk. Seeing them out there touched me so deeply that staying silent or doing nothing was no longer an option.
I knew I had to do something to bring them safety, nourishment, and hope. But to scale this support and create lasting relief, we need the power of a compassionate community and your generous donation
