Donation & Refund Policy

This policy outlines how donations are received, used, and handled by Miroku Star Village NPO (369 Star Village), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are committed to full transparency and responsible stewardship of every gift entrusted to us.
1. Making a Donation
Donations to 369 Star Village can be made through our website at 369starvillage.org via our secure donation form. We accept the following payment methods:

Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) via Stripe

PayPal and PayPal Giving Fund

Bank transfers (contact us for details)
All online transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment platforms. We do not store or have access to your full payment card details.
2. Tax Deductibility
Miroku Star Village NPO is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 41-2541363). All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by U.S. law. You will receive a donation confirmation and tax acknowledgment letter by email following your gift. Please retain this for your records when filing your taxes.
We recommend consulting a qualified tax advisor for guidance specific to your situation.
3. How Donations Are Used
Every dollar donated to 369 Star Village goes directly toward our charitable mission programs, including:

Travel to and from correctional facilities for prison outreach visits

Development of rehabilitation and spiritual care programs

VR and game-based healing program development for inmates

Opening and operating the Redondo Beach Zen Healing Sanctuary

Healing product development and distribution

Government advocacy for rehabilitation reform

Operational costs necessary to sustain our nonprofit mission
We are committed to responsible financial stewardship. While we do not guarantee that donations will be used for a specific program unless designated in writing, all funds are used exclusively in furtherance of our stated charitable mission.
4. Recurring Donations
If you choose to make a recurring donation, your payment method will be charged at the frequency you select (monthly or annually) until you cancel. You may cancel a recurring donation at any time by contacting us at hello@369starvillage.org with at least 5 business days notice before your next scheduled payment date.
5. Refund Policy
All donations made to 369 Star Village are generally considered final and non-refundable, as they are immediately allocated toward our mission programs.
However, we understand that errors can occur. Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis under the following circumstances:

A donation was made in error (e.g. duplicate payment or incorrect amount)

An unauthorized transaction was made using your payment method

A technical error resulted in an incorrect charge
To request a refund, please contact us at hello@369starvillage.org within 14 days of the transaction date with your name, email address, donation amount, and reason for the request. Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days to the original payment method.
We reserve the right to decline refund requests that do not meet the above criteria.
6. Product Purchases - Refund & Return Policy
For purchases of healing products through the 369 Miracle shop (including journals, incense, Omamori, and Dragon Script items):

Returns are accepted within14 daysof delivery for unused, unopened items in original condition

Items that have been opened, used, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for return

Customized or personalized items (such as hand-written Dragon Script pieces) are non-refundable

Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect
To initiate a return, please email hello@369starvillage.org with your order details and reason for return. We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions.
7. Donor Privacy
We respect the privacy of all our donors. Donor information is never sold, traded, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Donor names may be acknowledged in our communications with their explicit permission. For anonymous donations, please indicate your preference when donating or contact us directly.
